It was a long day of driving . . . Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, and finally South Carolina. We started our day in Caldwell, Ohio and we are ending our day by walking on the Boardwalk at Myrtle Beach. We are ready for a week of relaxing on the beach, swimming in the ocean and some fellowship with good friends. The new boardwalk is really nice and busy for a Sunday evening . . . the sounds of the boardwalk are interesting but the sound of the surf is relaxing and just awesome. As Marlene and I walk the boardwalk it finally hits me we are "Officially on Vacation!"
